Tel-O-Auction sales are on scheduled Mondays at 6 p.m., unless otherwise noted. If you have Virginia feeder cattle that you would like to consign to a Tel-O-Auction sale, please contact Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) Livestock Services at 540.209.9140 or the Virginia Cattlemen's Association at 540.992.1009.

- Information on the cattle is available one week prior to sale from the Virginia Cattlemen's Association.
- Buyers must call the Virginia Cattlemen's Association office (540.992.1009) by 5 p.m. day of sale to receive their bid number.
- Cattle are officially evaluated on USDA grades by VDACS Livestock Services Specialists; providing description of cattle, health program, weighing conditions and other information.
- Buyers make payment to the market for the cattle by the delivery date either by check or wire transfer of funds.
- An adjustment in price ("slide") will be used if the actual weight of the cattle is heavier or lighter than the estimated weight of the load. The "slide" amount will be announced at the beginning of each sale.
- The successful buyer, in cooperation with the seller, will select a delivery date within (10) days following the sale unless otherwise stated.
- Buyer must give at least 24 hours notice of pick up time.
- Buyers are responsible for obtaining any and all necessary health papers to accompany cattle to their destination.
- Last bidder on “no sales” has first purchase option at owner’s floor price.
