To acknowledge and celebrate the Commonwealth’s farmers and agricultural industry, June 22 – 28, 2025, is
being recognized as Virginia Agriculture Week. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer
Services (VDACS) encourages consumers to join in supporting our farmers and local economy by purchasing
agricultural goods grown and produced in Virginia. Consumers can identify locally grown and locally
produced agricultural products by looking for Virginia Grown and Virginia’s Finest logos on products in
grocery stores, specialty stores, and at farmers markets across the state. These products range from
vegetables, fruits, meats, and seafood, to snacks, sauces, craft beverages, and more. Virginia
agribusinesses also produce non-food items such as nursery plants, clothing fiber, firewood, and more.
Ways that you can support Virginia agriculture:
- Support Virginia's farmers by buying Virginia products and visiting farms and agribusinesses.
- When you visit a farm or see a farmer, thank them for their hard work in helping to provide food,
fiber, and fuel.
- Search for fresh Virginia produce, meats and seafood on the VirginiaGrown.com website
- Search for Virginia specialty foods and beverages on Virginia's Finest
- Follow VDACS on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
