GREAT TASTE 2008 – THE VIRGINIA FOOD AND BEVERAGE EXPO IS SCHEDULED FOR MAY 14, 2008 IN RICHMOND, VIRGINIA.  Presented by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Expo will take place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, 300 North Fifth Street in downtown Richmond, Virginia. Open exclusively to food industry professionals, the Expo will give 100+ companies an opportunity to show off their local food and beverage products and will give buyers for grocery and specialty stores, restaurants, food service and gift shops a quick and convenient way to survey hundreds of innovative and traditional Virginia food items from all over the state.  Admission is free, but open to the trade, only.  Click here for exhibitor and buyer registration and additional information.

MARKETING SERVICES assists the state's varied agricultural community by enabling producers and processors to locate the best markets for their products both here at home and abroad. The Division of Marketing serves producers, retailers and buyers, commodity boards and associations, by providing marketing assistance. Field offices are located throughout the state as well as overseas in Hong Kong.
