Description:  This is a seasonal, open-air market with generous parking in Historic Uptown Martinsville.  For the past 25 years, folks have come to the market to buy, sell and exchange goods.  Products available include green beans, corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, three varieties of squash, salad greens, herbs, plants, pumpkins, radishes, eggs, goat cheese, goat’s milk soap, seafood and fine crafts by local artisans.
Directions:  From Roanoke, take U.S. Highway 220 to Martinsville.  Turn left onto Commonwealth Boulevard, right onto Market Street, left onto Fayette and right onto Moss.  Parking is on Main Street and Church Street.
Hours:  6 a.m.-Noon, Wednesdays and Fridays; 8 a.m.-Noon, Saturdays.
Activities:  Tasty Saturday events, May–November monthly, include demonstrations, free healthy recipes, VMNH educators, music and chef of the month demonstrations.  Call us or visit our Web sites for dates and themes.
