Directions:  From Galax, take 89 south to left on Pipers Gap Road.  Take the first right (Coal Creek Road) and follow approximately 2 miles to first state road on right (Peaks Mountain Road). Follow exactly 2 miles and take Fern Ridge Lane to right (sign for Grape Arbor Gift Shoppe and Fern Ridge Guest House at road).  Follow until you come out of wooded area and turn right up drive.
Hours:  Hours and days vary by berries in season and weather.  Berries ripen from July through October 15.
Special Comments:  Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, nestled on a hillside with a spectacular view, we offer a variety of raspberries, blackberries and blueberries from summer to fall.  Come browse our on-site gift shop or stay with us at The Fern Ridge Guest House as we promote the agritourism concept.  Just 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Blue Ridge Music Center.  Pack a picnic lunch and make this a family outing.
Products:  Pick-your-own for summer bearing berries and blueberries soon to be available.  Fresh-picked/select-your-own for the Caroline fall bearers.  Bring your own containers for pick-your-own or containers may be purchased.

Directions:  From Abingdon, take Hwy. 58 east, approximately 38 miles.  Turn right on SR 748 (Laurel Hill Rd.) about 1 mile east of Grayson Highlands State Park. Go 1 mile to end of pavement. From Marion, take Highway 16 east to Volney, approximately 25 miles, turn right on Highway 58, go approximately 7 miles to SR 748.  Turn left, go 1 mile to end of pavement.   From Galax, take Highway 58 west to Volney, approximately 31 miles.  Turn left on Hwy. 58 west, go approximately 7 miles to SR 748; turn left, go 1 mile to end of pavement.
Hours:  9 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday-Friday, closed Saturday.
Special Comments:  Peak bloom is in early July, but if you want early or late blooming varieties, come in June or late July/early August.  Come enjoy the best selection of daylilies in the area and some of the best prices in the country. 
Products:  Select-your-own daylilies (Hemerocallis) – more than 500 cultivars in a breathtaking variety of colors and forms.  Our stock includes doubles, minis, bitones, bicolors and unusual forms.  All bloom seasons represented.  Broad range of colors—near white, yellow, melon, gold, orange, rust, red, pink, purple, lavender.  Many with contrasting eyes and/or edges, watermarks and diamond dusting.
